The region is situated 25 kilometers from Arkhangelsk, the distance from the pilot buoy is 18,5 miles. Handling of vessels with the draft of 8,5 meters and nearest prospects up to 9,2 m and length from 175 to 200 meters. Economiya disposes of 7 quays with the total length of 1090 meters, well-equipped with handling machinery for containers, pulp and paper, cardboard, timber, building materials, chemical cargo, metal, heavy equipment, bulk cargo. The total area of indoor storage is 17 356 sq meters, the total area of open storage is 160 713 sq meters. The largest terminal of the port will be declared as a zone of free enterprise where the preferential investment and enterprise climate is established. The area has a most modern container terminal available to its clients.

Container Terminal Intake is 75 000 TEUs

The container terminal includes:
– an open storage place with the area of 98 000 sq meters, where 5 762 TEUs can be storaged simultaneously, incl. up to 200 refrigerated containers and up to 2 200 containers with dangerous goods;
– 2 units of quay container handling machinery with the lifting capacity of 30.5 tons
– 2 units of rear container handling machinery with the lifting capacity of 30.5 tons.

Terminal LEVY BEREG

The distance from the pilot buoy is 32.5 miles. Handling of the vessels with the maximum draft of 6.8 meters and length of 160 meters. There are two quays with the total length of 360 meters and with the depth of 7.0 meters equipped specially for coal transhipment. Open storage area is 19 760 sq meters.

Terminal BAKARITSA

It is situated on the left bank of the Northern Dvina river. The distance from the pilot buoy is 36 miles. Handling of vessels with the draft of up to 6.8 meters and with the length of 135 meters. The region specializes in transhipment of all kinds of cargo going to the Arctics, as well as pulp and paper, cardboard, timber, food cargo and other kinds of general outward-inward cargo. The area has a compact rail network and an access to the motorway Arkhangelsk-Moscow. There are 12 quays with the length of 1793 meters and with the depth from 7.5 to 8.0 meters. The total area of the indoor storage place is 21 906 sq meters, the open storage place has the area of 69 441 sq meters.
